On the 2nd and 3rd of this month, the Chief Minister of Goa, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, visited the damaged bridges and colonies at Padipeta, Vedalla Cheruvu ST Colony, Thiruchanur, Autonagar, MR Palli in the Tirupati Urban District. During his visit to Krishnanagar, Deputy CM Shri Narayana Swamy, District SP Shri Venkata Appala Naidu, IPS, District Collector Shri Hari Narayanan, and IAS inspected the flood-affected areas to ensure precautionary measures.
Later, the District SP and the District Collector held a review meeting with other departmental officials at the Tirupati RDO office to discuss security arrangements and reinforcements in the wake of the Chief Minister’s visit to Goa.
Speaking on the occasion, the District SP said that ASL (Advanced Security Liaison) was being conducted from Tirupati Renigunta Airport today in the areas visited by the CM in the backdrop of the arrival of the Chief Minister of Goa on the 2nd and 3rd.
The CM also directed the authorities to ensure that the ROP, BD team, and dog squad are inspected by the Special Party police to prevent any untoward situation in the surrounding areas and to plan tight security around the event area.
